Music and art are two sides of the same coin at the ALXNDRITE studio. For this project, we took on an ambitious mashup: blending the raw, aggressive energy of 90s industrial nu-metal with the psychedelic, transcendental patterns found in visionary anatomical art. The design process was a technical tightrope walk. We had to balance gritty, dark-aesthetic textures with the complex, geometric flows that define spiritual realism.
The customer experience was focused on creating a "vibe" that felt like a powerful, lived-in internal journey. We spent a lot of time mapping out how the intricate, flowing energy lines could wrap around the darker, heavier focal points of the sleeve. It’s a piece that demands a second look—from the fine-line detail in the patterns to the deep, saturated blacks that hold the composition together. This sleeve is a reflection of the dark, gothic-inspired aesthetic we’ve cultivated here in the Tri-County.
